A heat pump will maintain a constant temperature in your pool year-round for about $1,500 a year in comparison to a gas heater which has an average cost of $3,500 a year. A homeowner can recoup their additional investment on a heat Pump in 2.1 years and have the capability to heat the pool in cooler months and cool their swimming pool during hot summer months.

Sanitation Systems, Know What You’re Choosing

Chlorine Feeder (Inline)

Traditional and reliable. Uses chlorine tablets, which require weekly monitoring. Lower up-front cost, more manual involvement.

Gentle on skin, low ongoing chemical needs. Best for families and those with sensitive skin. Slightly higher up-front equipment cost but less maintenance long-term. Salt is highly corrosive and it will eat up certain stones and possible concrete.

Timer System

Requires Wi-Fi connectivity at your equipment and adds on about $2,200. For a Pool Spa option you can just go to the equipment turn 2 valves and flip a switch for the heater and spa is on. If you want the blower on walk over flip a switch and it is all on.  It is up to you to determine if the $2,200 worth it for a little extra convenance.
