We don’t overpromise. We build efficiently and communicate clearly.
Most pools we build are completed in about 6 weeks, which equals around 30 working days. But that doesn’t mean 30 straight days of activity. Each phase of your build follows a proven sequence. There are natural gaps in-between phases, for inspections, drying, and preparation. This is construction, not magic. Weather, permits, and project complexity can add days. The difference with Subs For Pools is you will always know what’s happening and why.

What Can Delay a Build?
Permits and Inspections
- Timing depends on your local municipality
- Each inspection can add 3 days to your timeline
Delay Conditions
- Rain days (Houston area): +1 day per rain day
- Inspections: +3 days per inspection
- Reroutes: +1 day per day of delay
- Change orders: +3 days
- Payment delays: +1 day per day delayed
- Customer delays (travel, etc.): +1 day per day + minimum 3 days to restart
Weather
- Rain anywhere in the job queue affects scheduling
- Delays can happen even if your yard is dry
Project Complexity
- Large decks, custom features, or in-floor systems take longer
- Complex plumbing or automation may add steps
